In the sports world, there are players that you can “build a team” around. A perfect example of that in the commercial real estate world is Pete Zingoni.

An energetic and competitive self starter, Real Estate is in Peter’s blood- his family is heavily involved in the business. His sister is also in the commercial real estate business with Jones Lang LaSalle in Boston, and his father has
a construction business. Peter has re-developed high end vacation properties in Newport, Rhode Island. Previous to joining the Jacobs Realty Group, Peter started the Competitive Edge
Hockey School, with elite and intermediate development programs for aspiring professional
hockey players. Peter started the company and has grown the presence of Competitive Edge camps into multiple rinks in various states throughout the east coast. Peter himself truly has a “competitive edge” with a background as a professional athlete. His recent stops include Philadelphia Phantoms
(AHL-Philadelphia Flyers), Norfolk Admirals
(AHL-Tampa Bay Lightning), and Houston Aeros
(AHL-Minnesota Wild). He has also spent a season
abroad playing in the top leagues in Germany
(DEL) and Finland (SM-Liiga). Throughout his playing career he has developed strong leadership and team work qualities. This has helped him achieve many awards including the Unsung Hero award in Philadelphia and AHL Man of The Year Award in Norfolk for his countless contributions to the children and the city of
Norfolk, Virginia. Zingoni has also been active in the Professional Hockey Players Association which represents the player’s rights including different contract negotiations and the Collective Bargaining Agreement with owners. Peter is a graduate of Providence College with a degree in Business Management and also served as the captain of the ice hockey team.

Peter is very active in the local community belonging to various community groups, volunteers his time with a number of different local charities, and resides in Philadelphia with his wife Bernadette and daughter Scarlette.
