Jim Vesey joins the board of the Jacobs Realty Group with an extensive background in all areas of commercial real estate.

Jim is the founder and principal of Vesey Capital (VC) – a Haverford, PA based real estate investment company. Mr. Vesey previously headed the Capital Markets Group for Cushman and Wakefield in Philadelphia.

During his 14-year career at C&W, Mr. Vesey completed over 160 transactions totaling over $3 billion in asset value. Mr. Vesey is a former CPA, a member of ULI and ICSC, and is on the Board of Trustees for the University of the Arts in Philadelphia. Named the Business Fellow for the Daniel M. DiLella Center for Real Estate at Villanova in 2007, Mr. Vesey is teaching a course he developed for Villanova called Real Estate Investments.

Current investments of Vesey Capital include:

Pennsylvania Crusher – Two industrial buildings totaling over 100,000 square feet located in PA and Ohio. Both facilities are long-term leased to Pennsylvania Crusher. The PA property includes a vacant parcel that ownership is planning to develop.

Milton – A 718,000 square footindustrial/warehouse, 100% leased to two tenants located in Milton, PA. Current rents are 25% below market rates.

Shady Rest Mobile Home Community – Shady Rest consists of 215 mobile homes in a senior- targeted community located near Princeton, NJ. Ownership is currently developing two pad sites near the entrance of the complex.

Tomra – A 35,000 square foot warehouse facility leased to Tomra Recycling Corp located in Rotterdam, NY.

 

Vesey Capital typically partners with a variety of institutional and private equity capital partners. Long time relationships include ING, JP Morgan, Angelo Gordon, Vision Equities, Liberty Property Trust, First Industrial Realty Trust, E. Kahn Development and SK Realty.

Jim Vesey previously worked for RAF Industries, Hansen Properties, Helmsley Greenfield, and Wachovia Bank. He lives in Haverford PA with his wife and two children. Mr. Vesey is a graduate of Villanova University (‘81) and Cardinal Dougherty High School in Philadelphia, PA.
